The Menagerie Coast is the sun-drenched western edge of Wildemount in the realm of Exandria—a chain of trading ports, jungle islands, and pirate-haunted shipping lanes governed by the Clovis Concord. Beneath the color and shanties, however, the Myriad crime syndicate infiltrates guilds while the Revelry pirates terrorize the Lucidian Ocean.
This guide covers ten of the gazetteer’s most distinctive locations, and matches them with a battlemap to bring them to life at your table! These entries focus on locations outside the Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount's adventures, so whether your players stick to the main quest or go wandering, you’ll have the maps to keep up.
⚠️ Spoilers Abound! If your party is heading to the Menagerie Coast—stop here, send this to your DM, and come back when you’ve sailed out of there alive.
1. Port Damali — Shimmering Port

Port Damali is the jewel of the Menagerie Coast; a capital of free trade outside the empire. The Gilded Esplanade here hosts the Exalted Collection Auction House, where relics from across Exandria change hands for staggering sums.
This Shimmering Port map captures Port Damali at its most opulent, with whitestone plazas, manicured gardens, and blue-domed buildings that reflect the wealth and influence of the Coast’s most powerful city.
2. Darktow — Haunted Dockside Inn

Darktow sits at the heart of the Revelry, an eerie, fog-shrouded town carved into the cliffs of a volcanic island. Its ramshackle structures sprawl across rock shelves and rickety platforms, and the dragon turtle Idok patrols the surrounding reefs by arrangement with the Plank King himself.
This Haunted Dockside Inn map is the perfect place to have a drink you shouldn’t trust, delivering completely on the premise of a dark pirate stronghold that runs on secrets, with its dense fog, green phantom lighting, and plush red interiors.

The animated scene paints a picture of the fog outside, rotting boardwalks, and sickly green glow bleeding from every window. There’s also a sky variant if you want to place the inn higher up on Darktow’s cliffside.
3. Barren Shores — Haunted Ghost Ship (Interior + Exterior)

The Barren Shores are the cold, dark pebble beaches where the Cyrios Mountains drop into the icy Frigid Depths. Something immense pulverized the cliffs here long ago, and the twisted crustaceans and seaside cults that have moved in since have done little to improve its reputation.

The adventure hook here explores a wrecked smuggler ship, where the former crew hasn’t fully departed. The exterior of this Haunted Ghost Ship map sets the scene beautifully, while the interior variant delivers a cramped, debris-filled hold for an eerie dungeon crawl.
4. Dolithil Mine — Royal Mine Town

Gwardan is the elven city of the Menagerie Coast, whose wealth rests on a unique metalworking process that produces goods coveted across Exandria. The mines carved into the nearby Cyrios Mountains supply raw materials, and competition over their access has drawn all sorts into the city’s politics.
This Royal Mine Town map gives these operations a practical working shape, with stone compounds, cart tracks, and carved tunnels—perfect for sessions built around Gwardan’s jealously guarded mining secrets and the mercenaries competing to control them.
For expeditions deeper into the mines themselves, consider pairing this with the Mushroom-Infested Mines map!
5. Lushgut Forest — Cloud Forest Camp (Natural)

The Menagerie Coast is home to many tropical regions, and the Lushgut Forest is one of its darkest. The book traces its origins to the Calamity, where divine anguish twisted the forest into a labyrinthine, fume-choked woodland.
The natural variant of the Cloud Forest Camp is a great fit for travel through Lushgut or one of the other tropical jungles of the Menagerie Coast, with its drifting mist and canopy dense enough to put the forest floor in permanent shadow.

The map’s illustrated scene is a gorgeous establishing shot for when your party pushes past the treeline and into the dangers of the woods.
6. Nicodranas — Beach Town

Nicodranas—whose name translates as “gathering of colors”--more than earns its name, with colorful Menagerie pavilions mixing with imperial gothic architecture, and its Opal Archways that glow with multicolored torches and incense.
This Beach Town map paints a delightful burst of color for when your players first arrive, with its vibrant roofs, market stalls, and emerald seafront cannons.

The map’s animated scene gives players a ground-level arrival shot up the promenade steps, and is a great way to paint a picture of the city as they disembark.
7. Port Zoon — Iron Wharf

Port Zoon is the industrial engine of the Clovis Concord, and its cityscape is dotted with strange towers, furnace exhaust, and the work of arcane and scientific experts from wealthy guilds.
This Iron Wharf map is instantly recognizable as an industrial hub, with its mechanical vessels moored in working industrial canals and all sorts of arcane machinery all around. This is a great place for your party to come to commission unusual equipment—or get caught in violent guild politics.
8. Feolinn — Fey Vineyard

Feolinn is known as the Garden City—a small port pressed against the Plumgroves, whose woodland supplies the most competitive wine and spirits industries in Exandria. The book describes the city as replete with rural charm, full of well-kept parks and gardens.
This Fey Vineyard captures Feolinn’s cultivated leisure well, with an open-air winery courtyard, lavish decor, and well-maintained grapevines that feel right at home in a city where parks and gardens are considered a point of civic pride.

This map’s animated scene pulls back to the vineyard road itself, lined with trellised grapevines and depicting a perfect, idyllic, sunlit view of the Plumgroves.
9. Othemoor — Eeler’s Inn

Othe is a small city-state built across the waterline of the Othemoor marsh. Having begun as a Ki’Nau shamanistic site, the Othemoor is thick with humid air, mildewed wood, and ancient secrets.
This Eeler’s Inn perfectly suits a stopover in Othe, with its weathered dock-boards, modest common room within, and the Othemoor pressing in just beyond the inn walls—where the adventure hooks suggest that the ancient muck hides things considerably more dangerous than bad smells.
10. Ki’Nau Fishing Villages — Floating Village

Long before Marquesian colonists arrived, the Ki’Nau were the people of the Menagerie Coast, and their influence still runs through the land.
This Floating Village map works well for a settlement tracing its roots to the Ki’Nau, or for any of the small fishing communities scattered across the coast, such as the tabaxi community around Raska Lake in the Quoraska Jungle.
