A grand longship rests in a forest clearing, filled to the brim with treasures, weapons, and offerings meant to see someone great into the next life. Cart trails wind through the surrounding forest, worn from trips still being made to gather the last of the offerings.
Change the setting with any of the map's many variants. Seasonal variants carry the clearing through the year, Fog wraps the clearing in mystery, and Shore trades the forest for open water, with Cremation setting the ship ablaze for the final send-off. Relic jumps ahead by years, turning the burial site into a dig for treasure hunters and historians alike.
